Camp Gailor-Maxon is a
ministry of the Episcopal Diocese of
Tennessee and the Episcopal Diocese of West Tennessee, supervised by the
DuBose Conference Center Board of Directors.
Camp Gailor-Maxon has been a deeply meaningful experience for generations of campers, many
of whom come back to DuBose for reunion retreats decades later.
Like any community of faith, Camp Gailor-Maxon needs to keep growing in
order to fulfill its mission as a ministry of, and for, Episcopal youth. Our
goal is to keep our tuition low so that every young person who wants to come to
Camp can afford to come. We want to keep our programs strong, and reach out to
all churches across the state.

You can help – in three important ways.
Be a CGM Apostle
Just
as the Apostles were sent out to spread the Good News, you can spread the word at your church, school, youth group, Sunday
School, and among your friends and the parents of camp-aged kids. First, please
SIGN UP here to be on the Camp Gailor-Maxon email list –
that way, we can send you reminders and timely materials as they are published,
including posters, flyers, bulletin texts, dates and times for Pre-Camp
PARTIES, and more!
Next, download and print the
CGM 2012 POSTER. Place these posters prominently
in your youth group room, Sunday School Room, Church office, bulletin boards,
etc. Make sure the communications person at your church knows about camp and puts the announcements in the bulletins and/or newsletter. Finally, every parent with school-aged kids starts thinking
about and planning summer activities for their families. THEY NEED TO
KNOW
ABOUT CAMP EARLY IN THE YEAR! SPREAD THE WORD – tell your friends about
camp,
show them the
video, invite them to come to the regional event, and make
sure they get an
application.
Donate
You can help Camp keep its tuition low and its spirits
high with a tax-deductible donation to Camp Gailor-Maxon. You can sponsor an
activity by funding: Art Barn supplies, Camp photos, Medical kits, Camp
T-shirts, Bus trips for Community Service, Bus Trips for Hikes, Trips to
Sewanee and other off-campus activities.

Host a Pre-Camp Party!
We’ve had great success in introducing Camp Gailor-Maxon to new
campers through a Pre-Camp Party hosted by Camp Gailor-Maxon families in their homes in the winter and early spring. Generally, we need only one or two of these in an area such as Memphis,
Nashville, Chattanooga or Knoxville. It’s a great way to introduce friends to
the Camp Gailor-Maxon experience. To host or to help plan the event in your area, or to be
